Each member of our audit team has met the continuing professional education (CPE) requirements established by the American Institute of CPAs, the Florida Board of Accountancy, and Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.
We are a member of the American Institute of CPA’s Governmental Audit Quality Center.
The Center membership provides us with timely information on a variety of technical, legislative, and regulatory subjects that we can, in turn, apply to our governmental audits to ensure compliance with the appropriate standards and changes in regulations.
Due to the large number of audits we perform annually for local governments, the Firm has years of experience performing Federal and State Single Audits in accordance with the Federal Single Audit Act, U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, and the Florida Single Audit Act.
