Restaurant & Hospitality Experience

Our Firm’s experience includes tax preparation and advice, representation before the Internal Revenue Service and the Florida Department of Revenue, and routine accounting services, such as monthly write-up work and compiled financial statements. We also perform monthly or quarterly operational reviews of profit margins, expense ratios, and operating trends for clients.

Our services are directed by Mr. Louis M. Cohen, a shareholder in our Firm with extensive experience in the Restaurant and Hospitality Industry. Mr. Cohen is an active member of the Florida Restaurant Association and the Florida Hospitality Association. His family has been involved in the restaurant industry for over 30 years and he regularly advises local Restauranteurs in such areas as:

· Development of internal controls for inventory

· Implementation of cost saving measures

· Site selection criteria and projecting costs of development

· Buy-sell disputes

· Expert witness testimony

Mr. Cohen is presently a consultant to the Palm Beach Restaurant Associates, Inc., an association of fine dining establishments in Palm Beach. Mr. Cohen has also been the chairman of the Finance and Merchandise committees for Sunfest.
