CDL Announces the Launch of CDL Controller Services

Rizzuto, Victoria

Victoria Rizzuto

Victoria Rizzuto will head up CDL Controller Services. A Tax Supervisor with CDL since 2010, Rizzuto is a veteran in working with restaurants, rental real estate, corporate payroll and sales and use taxes. Victoria is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the past treasurer for The Junior League of the Palm Beaches.

All engagements will be performed on a consulting basis, providing a cost-saving advantage over employing full time controllers and accountants. In addition, monthly review and analysis of clients’ books (data entries, bank reconciles, etc.) will occur on-site or remotely based on the clients’ preferences. Because financials are analyzed on a monthly basis, the pressure to file corporate tax returns, additional filing fees and penalties associated, is eliminated.

“Cost, consistency and service are the driving forces to launch CDL Controllers Services,” said CDL President and Shareholder Lou Cohen. “Business owners are seeking high-level, experienced controllers to review their financials and help them remain competitive. Our Controller Services’ team offers the analysis, eliminates the additional payroll costs, and is backed by our locally established, nationally recognized certified public accounting firm.”

Caler, Donten, Levine, Cohen, Porter & Veil, P.A. Celebrates 30!

Caler, Donten, Levine, Cohen, Porter & Veil, P.A. Celebrates 30!

2017 marks CDL’s 30th year in business.  Since its founding in 1987, CDL has prided itself on providing top quality service and giving back to the community.  With our knowledgeable shareholders and staff we have been able to deliver the broad resources and experience of a large firm but offer the personal attention, passion, and innovative thinking of a small firm.

We strive to be the provider of choice to our clients, the employer of choice to our staff, and the corporate citizen of choice in our community.  Because of our dedication, we are now the largest single office CPA firm in South Florida, with over 90 staff members.  In an interview with Lou Cohen, the Firm’s President, he remarked: “As president of this Firm for many years now, as well as a shareholder for over 23 years, I have seen this Firm grow every year, both in people and in revenues.  So to look back and think of when we operated with 20 or so people, without email, internet, or a cell phone, I can’t imagine how we were able to accomplish tasks on a day to day basis AND grow each year.”  It has been a rewarding journey, and there are plenty of good things on the horizon for us.

To celebrate our success, we want the community to get to know us a little better.  Over the course of the year, we will have interviews with shareholders (including the full interview with Lou Cohen) and staff about their experience at CDL, what has driven their success, and we may even be able to delve into their personal lives for a few fun facts.  We are excited to celebrate this milestone, and we thank our clients, business affiliates, community, and staff… they are the reason we are celebrating our 30th anniversary and hope to continue serving our community for many years to come.
