CDL Continues Its Unbroken Record of Passing Its Triennial Peer Review

CDL is pleased to announce that the Firm and its audit practice received a PASS rating as part of its triennial peer review. The Firm received the rating with no deficiencies from the reviewers.

Since the Firm’s inception in 1987, CDL has consistently received the PASS rating, which is the highest level of achievement any CPA firm can receive on their peer review. In the reviewer’s opinion, “the system of quality control for the accounting and auditing practice of CDL in effect for the year ended June 30, 2018, has been suitably designed and complied with to provide the Firm with reasonable assurance of performing and reporting in conformity with applicable professional standards in all material respects’.

The peer review process is an independent audit of the Firm’s compliance with the highest standards for Leadership, Relevant Ethical Requirements, Acceptance and Continuance of Clients, Human Resources (including continuing professional education, staff development and training, and personnel practices), Engagement Performance (including the volumes of accounting and auditing standards applicable to specific audit engagements) and Monitoring.

As part of the commitment to audit quality, the Firm continues to be a member of the Governmental Audit Quality Center, the Employee Benefit Audit Quality Center and the Not-For-Profit Membership Section of the American Institute of CPA’s.

“We are extremely proud of our superior record of meeting the highest auditing and accounting standards,” said Mark Veil, shareholder with CDL. “I applaud the Firm, our audit practice and most importantly our audit staff for this outstanding achievement and am proud to share this great news with our clients and the public.”
