Lou Cohen, President and Shareholder of CDL, has become a founding member of the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce Trustee Program.  He joins 41 other professionals to help identify, advocate and create business opportunities for Palm Beach Chamber members and their constituents.

The inaugural Trustee Program was by invitation only and was spearheaded by local leaders John Bowers (Vice President, TD Bank), Joe Chase (Partner, Gunster Law Firm) and Patricia LeBow (Partner, Nelson, Mullens, Broad & Cassel) to benefit the business community in Palm Beach and the surrounding areas.

During the month of November, CDL employees volunteered and financially supported six charities throughout Palm Beach and Martin Counties.  The six charities were Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, Leukemia and Lymphoma, the American Heart Association, The Big Heart Brigade, Meals on Wheels and Tykes and Teens.  Beginning on November 3 and running through November 28, CDL employees, families and friends were in the community making the holidays bright for those in need in the community.

Under the proposal, an employee's 401(k) savings would be moved to an IRA if employment (or the plan) is terminated.
