Up Close

How do you wind down after busy season?

I like to take a few days off and spend quality time with my wife and family.

What do you like most about being a CPA?

I enjoy problem-solving.  I also enjoy working closely with the Firm’s clients to properly plan for their future from a tax perspective.

What advice would you give someone considering a CPA career?

The most important thing I would say is to pass the CPA exam as soon as possible.  Also, begin networking early in your career and get involved in something that you are passionate about.  Make sure to always stay current on accounting trends and tax laws.
