What do you like most about being a CPA?

Overall, it’s the feeling of accomplishment when you get to help clients.  Whether it’s helping them plan for the future, selling a business or just general accounting questions or concerns, it’s the satisfaction of advocating and helping them with their specific needs.

What advice would you give someone considering a CPA career?

Take your CPA exam as soon as possible and keep up on technological advances in the profession.  Also understand that a career as a CPA is very people oriented.  You’ll meet and work with a variety of clients, and you’ll need to be comfortable with these personal interactions.
