Mike Nalezyty began his accounting career in 1984.  He joined CDL in 2003 and became a Shareholder of Caler, Donten, Levine, Cohen, Porter & Veil, P.A. in 2016.

Mike has more than 30 years of public accounting experience, focusing on taxation and foreign compliance.  He serves clients in the areas of corporate, partnership, and individual taxation.

How do you prepare for busy season?

I get as much work done as early as possible and get returns filed as soon as possible. 

How do you wind down after busy season?

I enjoy the weekends with my family.

What’s on your bucket list?

I’d like to watch the Detroit Lions win a Super Bowl (but that may be a while).

I like working with so many different and interesting people and learning their stories.

What advice would you give someone considering a CPA career?

Pass your CPA exam as soon as you get out of school, and learn how to manage stress.
